This Oakland-based muralist studied at the College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland (BFA in painting in 1975) and San Francisco State University (MFA in 1979). Galvez has done murals through out the United States over the last 19 years. New York's Dept of Cultural Affairs recently commissioned him to create a 63' foot mural honoring Malcolm X for the new Malcolm X Memorial and Museum at the Audubon Ballroom in Harlem. (Robin K.
