Description / Interpretation:
Goez Art Studio. Depits actor Edward James Olmos as a rising star. The mural was commissioned for use on the cover of Time for the July 11, 1988, issue. Olmos grew up in East Los Angeles. His credits include the television show Miami Vice and the starring role in the movie, Stand and Deliver, about then-local high school calculus teacher Jaime Escalante. In 1992 Olmos made his directorial debut with American Me.
