The event will take place on Saturday, August 13, 2011 on 110 Winston St. (click for google map) in front of Crewest, from 12-6pm. There will be 12 artists competing for a chance to advance to the final battle in Oakland, CA this fall. Artists competing in the competition will be announced as the battle day approaches.

In addition to the Graffiti Battle, a Black Book Battle will be happening simultaneously and will hold three categories – Youth (12-21), Adult (21+), and a Women’s only division. To participate in the Black Book Battle you must sign up the day of the event. The first 30 to sign up will receive a Crescent Graffiti Paper Sketch Pad to use in the battle, (all supplies will be provided to participants).
