This San Diego-based artist [b. 1955] studied studio art at the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque (BA, 1985), and visual arts at the University of California, San Diego (MA, 1988). A native of El Paso, Texas, he has done numerous site-specific public art installations, including both murals and sculptures, throughout California, as well as in New Mexico, Texas, Michigan, and Isla Mujeres, Mexico.
