A printmaker and painter as well- as a veteran muralist, Weber grew up in New York. In the early 1970s, he was one of the founders of the Chicago Mural Group, now called the Chicago Public Art Group. He co-authored Toward a People's Art, the classic account of the early years of the community mural movement. He lives in Oak Park, a suburb of Chicago. (Robin K.
