Madrid worked with the Citywide Mural Project in 1974-75. A native Angeleno, Madrid did art directing, design and photography for department stores before going freelance in 1984. Since then he has been doing graphics for year books and sports teams, such as the Raiders. He also does graffiti removal with mental patients. (Robin K.
