Before Banksy, Before Brainwash, Before Duh Fairey and Before Deitch dabbling with Jamboree Graffiti, it was the Phantom Street Artist who established the new urban vision and language of the time. The Phantom boldly assaulted the language of Mass Media as artifice. Critiquing society and its culture in question, The Phantom Street Artist has chosen to capture the various spectacular image and languages of mass media with new representation in order to subvert the authority of the sign and its signification. Joey Krebs diverse clandestine street projects which practice a biting commentary form of Creative Mass Media Intervention casting himself as a principle lead in protest through self realized scripts.
